Lodi Adopt A Child’s mission is to assist underprivileged youth in the community with the resources and support needed to enjoy everyday life and to provide and promote opportunities from which each child may benefit.

Holiday Volunteers
Lodi Adopt-A-Child is an all volunteer organization. We appreciate your support in collecting and distributing gifts to children in our community who are less fortunate.
Our 2024 program concluded with our "party", distributing clothes and toys to 870 children from 400+ families in Lodi.
We will need volunteers again this year, though primarily in the Fall 2025. If you would like to register as a volunteer, we will contact you when we have more information about volunteer opportunities.
Typically we need for volunteers for the following tasks:

English/Spanish translation (Late October to Mid-December)

Staff front desks - distributing Angel cards, receiving gifts (Mid-November to Early December)

Shopping for clothes and toys (Late November to mid-December)

Packing and boxing gifts (Late November to Early December)

Gift wrapping (Late November to Mid-December)

Bicycle assembly (Late November to Mid-December)

Data entry - family/child request information and donor information into our system (Late October to Mid-November)
Of course, your financial contributions are always welcome. All funds go directly to purchasing gifts, or supporting other programs, for children from low-income families in the Lodi community. All of the directors and staff volunteer their time and energy without remuneration.
