Hope Outfitters

Lodi Adopt-a-Child, Inc. (LAAC) has established Hope Outfitters, a program dedicated to identifying students in need and outfitting them with the basic necessities for success. It is the mission of Hope Outfitters to help provide a sense of hope for the future to students in Lodi.  We hope to accomplish this through supporting school staff, providing clothing, jackets and backpacks to those students who are in need.

 

In August 2023, we kicked off a pilot project with six elementary schools in Lodi.  Students in those schools who are identified by teachers or administrators as “in dire need”, will be provided clothing, jackets and/or backpacks by LAAC.   In 2025, LAAC is expanding this partnership with more schools in Lodi, including middle and high schools.
