Windows of Imagination Children’s Art Show
Our first Children’s Art Show for Lodi children in 3rd to 12th grade was held in August. The theme was “Imagine if you had a Superpower. What could you do with it to help - Your family? Your friends? Your community?”
Nine winning art pieces were selected by a panel of judges and will be displayed in the windows of our building at 100 E. Pine St. in the near future. Watch for announcement of our ribbon-cutting event to show off our window art. www.lodiadoptachild.org/artshow.
Lodi Rotary Golf Tournament
October 16
Lodi Rotary will hold its 10th annual “Provide a Ride” Golf Tournament on October 16th. Proceeds will go toward bicycles for the Lodi Adopt-A-Child Christmas Wish Program. Sign up to play and contribute to our program:

Every year we start getting ready for our Christmas Wish Program around this time. For those of you familiar with the program, most of our operation will be very similar to last year.
Here’s the latest information about our 2026 Christmas Holiday Wish Program:
Once again
As we have for the past 36 years, Lodi Adopt-A-Child (LAAC) will collect and distribute gifts to children from low-income families in Lodi. We will accept applications from eligible families, collect wish lists from their children, up to 14 years old, and record these on Angel Cards. Sponsors will purchase gifts for those children themselves, or donate funds for us to purchase them. The gifts will then be collected, wrapped and distributed to the children at our annual party on Saturday, December 12th.

Register your family with the Community Partnership for Families (CPF) – NOW

Registering in advance will save you time when you bring in your Christmas application

If you have a CPF Family ID #, then you’re already registered and don’t need to register again. If you’re not already registered, you can register NOW, by appointment: 209-269-8262 at 100 E. Pine St.

We rely on the community's help to make our Christmas Wish Program a success each year. There are multiple ways you can contribute:

Angel Cards
Starting November 7th, we will have Angel Cards with a child's name and wish list. Take one, or more, cards and purchase clothes and toys for the child. Then return them to us, by December 6th. Office hours are posted on our website now.

Volunteering – It Takes a Village…
Register to help distribute Angel Cards, receive gifts, pack and wrap them, shop for them, assemble bicycles, and do other tasks. Starting in October and November, we will post the jobs that need to be done and when. Sign up online, or contact us by email at volunteer@lodiadoptachild.org or by phone at 209-333-1056.

Donate
You can donate online now or drop off cash or checks at our office after November 10. Your donations will allow us to purchase gifts. Since none of our staff or volunteers are paid, all of the funds we receive go directly to supporting our programs that assist children in need.
Donations from Clothing or Toy Drives
We accept new or unused clothes and toys appropriate for children ages 14 and under. Bicycles are most needed. Please note, however, that we do not accept used items. We gratefully accept any donated items, preferably between November 7 and December 1. The earlier, the better. Contact us at 209-333-1056 to make arrangements.
