Holiday Volunteers
Lodi Adopt-A-Child is an all volunteer organization. We appreciate your support in collecting and distributing gifts to children in our community who are less fortunate.
We need volunteers every year, primarily in the fall (October-December). If you would like to register as a volunteer, we will contact you when we have more information about volunteer opportunities.
Typically we need for volunteers for the following tasks:
-
English/Spanish translation (Late October to Mid-December)
-
Distributing Angel cards and receiving gifts (Mid-November to Early December)
-
Shopping for clothes and toys (Late November to mid-December)
-
Packing and boxing gifts (Late November to Early December)
-
Gift wrapping (Late November to Mid-December)
-
Bicycle assembly (Late November to Mid-December)
-
Data entry - family/child request information and donor information into our system (Late October to Mid-November)
Please note: In April 2025, we moved to a new Volunteer management program (with Volgistics). If you registered with us in the past, you will need to re-register again this year.

HOW TO "Opt-in"
for text messaging
If you didn't Opt-in when you first registered as a volunteer, here are instructions to enable us to send you text messages
Of course, your financial contributions are always welcome. All funds go directly to purchasing gifts, or supporting other programs, for children from low-income families in the Lodi community. All of the directors and staff volunteer their time and energy without remuneration.
