Music Scholarships*
Sayla Music Academy

LAAC sponsors music lessons through Sayla Music Academy in Lodi. Scholarships include music lessons and instrument rental. We’ve extended the program for children up to 17 years old.
Students must:

Be 17 years old or less

Be from families below the low-income level

Claude Brown Memorial Scholarships
Applications are open until April 11!

In honor of Claude Brown, Lodi Adopt-A-Child offers college scholarships to graduating seniors in Lodi high schools who are pursuing a career in Agriculture or Engineering. This year, we’ve increased the scholarships to $1,000 each.
Applications can be completed online or downloaded from our website, here: www.lodiadoptachild.org/claude-brown-memorial-scholarship. Unlike many of our programs, these scholarships do NOT require income verification. Applications must be completed by April 11, 2025.

We provided gifts to over 850 children, including 240 bicycles, for our 2024 Christmas Wish Program. Thank you to over 100 volunteers, 170 sponsors (who took Angel Cards) and a large number of people who made cash, check and online donations who made it all possible. We could not do this without your help.
More information will be available in the fall when we do it all again for our 2025 Christmas Wish Program.
Temporary Warehouse Space Needed
November-December
Each year, LAAC assembles, stages and distributes hundreds of bicycles for our Christmas Wish Program. The donated space we used the past few years is no longer available, so we need a new location to assemble and store these bicycles. We only need this space for a few weeks as we prepare for our Christmas party in December.
