Wrapping Volunteers​

Primary duties:

  • Packing, boxing and/or wrapping gifts

  • All gifts for the children in our program are packed in boxes, wrapped and then staged for distribution at our Christmas party on December 14.  We'll have about 1500 boxes that will need packing and wrapping by the time we're done.

  • We try to schedule wrapping sessions with several people at a time.  We've found that a team is the most efficient way to do this, with some people boxing, some wrapping, some staging at the same time, keeping a steady flow without a pile of gifts backing up.

  • This work is all done in our office at 100 E. Pine St., Lodi.​

Timing:

  • Currently we have the following wrapping shifts scheduled:

    • Tuesday, November 26 11am-2pm​ (FULL)

    • Friday, November 29, 2-5pm

    • Saturday, November 30, 10am-3pm

    • Every day starting Sunday, Dec 1 until Tuesday, Dec 10

      • 1​0am-12noon

      • 12noon-2pm

      • 2-5pm

  • You may notice some missing shifts on the signup form. We remove shifts from the form if we have enough people already signed up during that that time.

  • We will text you the day before to confirm your shift

  • We are dependent on when sponsors who've taken Angel Cards return the gifts, so it's difficult to predict how much we'll have to wrap each day.
