Shopping Volunteers​

Primary duties:

  • Assist with shopping for clothes and toys for children in our Christmas Wish Program

  • Shopping is usually done in a group, including at least one Lodi Adopt-A-Child board member, who will have an LAAC credit card for the purchases

  • You will be provided with:

    • The child's name, gender, age, sizes​

    • Either specific items to purchase or their wish list

  • You may be asked to help deliver to and/or sort items at the LAAC office

Timing:

  • Most of the shopping will be after Thanksgiving and in the first two weeks of December.

    • One excursion is planned for Saturday, December 7th ​

  • Unfortunately, it's difficult to know in advance when we'll need to shop.

  • If you sign up to shop, we will text you when we have a shopping excursion planned.  If you can join us, your help would be greatly appreciated.  If not, we understand that you might not be available

  • If you have not already done so, register as a volunteer.

  • We will text you when we have shopping sessions scheduled.
