2 Lodi Seniors Awarded Claude Brown Scholarship
In honor of Claude Brown, Lodi Adopt-A-Child offers $500 scholarships each year to graduating seniors in Lodi high schools who are pursuing a career in Agriculture or Engineering.
Two scholarships were awarded to members of the Class of 2023 in May.

New Arts Program!
Changing Faces Drama Classes*
LAAC continues to expand its arts scholarships in partnership with Changing Faces Theater Company. One scholarship has already been awarded for the summer drama club. Additional scholarships are available for after-school drama classes this fall.
Students must:

24 Sports/Activities Scholarships Awarded in 2023 (so far)
Lodi Adopt-A-Child (LAAC) continues to offer sports and activities scholarships through the Lodi Parks and Recreation Department (Play Lodi) and the Boosters of Boys and Girls Sports (BOBS). So far this year, LAAC has sponsored 24 students wanting to play football, soccer, cheerleading, ballet and other activities who might otherwise not have been able to participate.

Temporary Warehouse Space Needed
November-December
Each year, LAAC assembles, stages and distributes hundreds of bicycles for our Christmas Wish Program. The donated space we used the past few years is no longer available, so we need a new location to assemble and store these bicycles. We only need this space for a few weeks as we prepare for our Christmas party in December.
